SYNOPSIS

Mamie Conroy, a shopgirl, and wealthy Jeanette Gregory become friends. When Mamie foils an attempted abduction of Jeanette, the latter's grandfather, Simon Gregory, brings Mamie into his home and treats her like a member of the family.
