SYNOPSIS

On an ocean liner bound for Persia, Prince Ahmed is attracted to Lady Alicia, the English wife of Lord Douglas, because she wears a ring that is a duplicate of his own, presented to her father by the father of the prince. Returning to his palace, the prince is confronted by Alizar, a dancing girl who is a double for his love, but he is unable to feel a similar affection for her. Meanwhile, Lord Douglas and Lady Alicia visit Persia; his lordship enters the women's quarters of the palace and is discovered struggling with Alizar, but he flees in time to save his life, while the girl kills herself.
