SYNOPSIS

Because he is unable to locate a suitable model, a famous artist abandons a statuary group that was intended to grace a fountain. His friends find a young and inexperienced country girl who is looking for work and bring her before the artist. Immediately he finds in her the model he has always sought, and soon other artists are clamoring to hire her. Although she has fallen in love with the artist, he seems interested only in his work, and when he flirts with a society woman, the model, disconsolate, vanishes. Finally the artist realizes his love for the model, and after a lengthy search, he finds her ill and hungry at the base of one of his sculptures. The artist pledges his love, and the two are ... +
