SYNOPSIS

Mary Boland, the daughter and accomplice of a crook, announces that she is going straight. She becomes a nursemaid for a wealthy family, but when her father breaks in, she is fired, even though Mary prevents any theft. Meanwhile, her sweetheart, Dave Karns, also a crook, unsuccessfully looks for honest work. He decides on one last heist, so he and his partner steal some jewels and hide them at Mary's. Mary finds a necklace the men stole and keeps it. Each man accuses the other of having taken it, and in a fight, Dave kills his partner. Dave discovers Mary has the necklace, leaves it with the dead man, manages to clear himself of the murder charge, and decides to go straight ... +
