SYNOPSIS

Gang leader Dave Darcey escapes after shooting Paddy Burns, the head of another mob, and decides to use Philip Benton's home as a hideout. Philip allows Dave to stay on the condition that he vow to go straight, after which Grace Harrington, Philip's fiancée, convinces her sweetheart to give Dave a job in his munitions factory. Dave's evidence is convincing enough, but instead of implicating the baroness, it makes Dave himself seem guilty. Finally, however, Dave proves his innocence and authorities arrest the baroness. They ease Dave's conscience, too, when they tell him that Paddy has recovered from his gunshot ... +
