SYNOPSIS

As a child, Richard Allen is abducted by a disgruntled servant and reared as a thief. As an adult, Richard becomes a gentleman thief known as the Master Mind. He is reunited with his brother Henry, but their happiness is short-lived. After Henry kills a rival for his mistress, he is convicted and executed for murder. To avenge Henry's death, Richard persuades Lucine, a fellow crook known as "Three-Arm Fanny," to seduce and marry the prosecuting attorney at his brother's trial. Richard plans to kill the district attorney, but Fanny has fallen in love with her husband and persuades Richard to relent.
