SYNOPSIS

After the Eastern-educated Indian Brain Elkhorn prevents capitalist Percy Malcolm from cheating his tribe of their land, Malcolm's daughter Betty decides to use her feminine wiles to gain possession of the land. Betty bewitches Elkhorn and presents a deed of sale to him when he proposes marriage. As soon as he signs, Betty repulses him and, penitent, Elkhorn confesses his treachery to the tribe, who ostracize him. Vengeful, Elkhorn throws off the veneer of civilization and carries Betty off to his lonely wigwam on a mountain top where he lives in exile from his people. Here she realizes that her former contempt for him has turned to love, but his heart has turned to an Indian maiden, and the society girl returns to her frivolous environment, sadder but ... +
