SYNOPSIS

Unable to make ends meet in Ireland, Dennis O'Hara decides to go to New York to become a policeman, after which he plans to send for his fiancée, Katie O'Grady. Dennis manages to pass his police examination, but then, just before he wires Katie to join him, some crooks looking for a scapegoat implicate him in a graft scheme. This alleged involvement would make it impossible for Dennis to remain a policeman, but he finally clears his name and is allowed to rejoin the force. Then, Katie comes to the United States to marry Dennis, but as excited as she is to become his wife, she is just as thrilled to see him in his policeman's ... +
