SYNOPSIS

Leaving his small hometown in disgrace, Daniel Williams lands a small part in a Broadway show, and his press agent releases a story that Dan is making $3,000 a week. Dan's father, a banker, finds himself in serious financial trouble and, faced with a run on his bank, appeals to Dan for help. Dan confesses his true state of financial affairs to his father and then, with the help of the press agent, concocts a scheme to save his father's bank. Having finally won the respect of his fellow townspeople, Dan wins his childhood ... +
