SYNOPSIS

Kent Blake, a deputy sheriff, is about to arrest some claim jumpers when Oakley, the owner, frightens off the villains by causing a landslide, thus uncovering a rich new vein. He tries to persuade Kent to resign his job and take up prospecting with him, but the sheriff sends word for him to arrest dope smugglers on the border, and he foils their efforts. Martin, a lawyer, wins the confidence of Wanda Preston, whom Kent loves, and steals the evidence against the smugglers, forcing Kent to resign.
