SYNOPSIS

In ancient Greece, Nadia elopes with Lucian to avoid marrying Theron, a powerful senator who, enraged at being jilted, has the couple captured and thrown into an active volcano. The gods punish Theron, however, turning him into a lion and condemning him to stay that way until he makes amends for killing Nadia and Lucian. In modern times, Agnes is in love with Arthur, who works as a Wall Street broker and hunts big game as a hobby. Rival broker Henry Kimball wants to kill Arthur, and so frees the lion that the amateur hunter has captured. Instead of attacking Arthur, however, the lion, who is really Theron, kills Henry, and, by so guaranteeing the happiness of Agnes and Arthur, frees the ancient Greek's soul from the animal's ... +
