Calumet Marston, who drifted aimlessly for several years after quarreling with his father, returns to his Lazy Y Ranch after Tom and Neal Taggart kill his parents. When Tom makes scandalous remarks about Betty Clayton, whom the elder Marston had designated as manager of the Lazy Y, Cal forces him to apologize, and the two men become even more bitter enemies. Tom and Neal ambush Cal and the three shoot it out until Betty rushes to Cal's assistance. A posse rescues Cal and Betty just in time, and Cal, who has become a new man under Betty's influence, marries ...
