SYNOPSIS

Although Raymond Van Seer is blessed with both health and wealth, he is unhappy and contemplates suicide. His friends tell him about Mrs. M. who tells fortunes, and although skeptical, he visits the seer. When her prediction of a slight accident comes true, Raymond becomes a believer. His second visit gives him a scare, because she predicts that he will meet with sudden death on a certain date. Meanwhile, Raymond has met Phyllis Woodman, and his life has become very dear to him.
