The working title of this film was The Double Circle. According to the LAT review, the film was shot in New York with an all-female crew of thirty five. Karen Sperling, the film's co-producer, writer, director and star explained in a Nov 1973 HR interview the reason she chose to work solely with women: "I live in a special time, with women suddenly emerging as professionals. Women film technicians have been trying to get experience, and I imagined there were enough women in the city of New York...who were skilled enough and wanted to do the film." The film, which was called a "feature," but not given an exact running in contemporary sources, had a sneak preview in Los Angeles in Nov 1973, but it is unlikely that it was commercially released. ...
