SYNOPSIS

David Cresson, the leader of a gang of thieves, passes himself off in society circles as a gentleman and cultivates the romantic inclinations of Helen Rankin, who knows nothing of his criminal activities. When his lieutenant, "Flash" Norton, doublecrosses him and robs the girl of a necklace he has given her, Richard Holt, whom Helen actually loves, is held hostage.
