SYNOPSIS

Chorus girl Connie meets eminent lawyer Robert MacNair at a supper party, and after falling in love they are married. Four years later, though still in love, MacNair neglects her. While he is away on business, she attends a party with a friend, and in avoiding the host, Garrick, she is burned accidentally. A thief, hiding nearby, plants a revolver in her hand, and it thus appears that she has shot Garrick; but Dillon, the thief, is arrested.
