SYNOPSIS

Nanette, an extra in a Hollywood studio, finds a poor girl, Lucy Dennison, on the set. Lucy's wealthy grandfather has broken up her parents and left her homeless because her mother was once a chorus girl. Lucy becomes ill, and Nanette loses her job at the studio; Nanette, who has previously met Bob Dennison, decides to impersonate Lucy and get into the good graces of the grandfather, but Lola Leeds, a jealous actress who comes to Santa Barbara on location, exposes her as an imposter. Nanette confesses to the grandfather, who agrees to take in Lucy but refuses to consent to the marriage of Bob and Nanette. Bob and Bill--a former sweetheart of Nanette--chase her train in a flivver, and the lovers are happily ...
