SYNOPSIS

Julio Argüelles, the son of a very rich Buenos Aires businessman, prefers to devote his career to Creole music and song and, with a couple of friends, forms the trio "Los Gorjeadores." Determined to live his own life, Julio opposes his father's plans and, instead of marrying an heiress, decides to take his chances with Margarita, a dancer, and breaks all contact with his family. Living in poverty and with his young daughter Marga to support, Julio, in desperation, goes to his father's house to ask for the money necessary to save his wife who is deathly ill. Pedro Dávila, in charge of business affairs for his father, surprises Julio stealing, and although he escapes, Julio returns too late to save his wife. Years later, Marga has become a pretty young woman, a dancer like her late mother. Julio has become successful in a large part of the world under the surname Quiroga. En route to Buenos Aires, the Dávila family find themselves on the same boat as Marga and Julio. Daniel, the manager's son, falls in love with Marga during the voyage, and although he discovers the singer's past, this cannot obstruct the happiness of the two young ... +
