The four seasons (Mike, Joe, Pete, and Guy) make a meager living playing jazz at a shabby East Side restaurant. On their way home one night, Mike saves a little blonde from a drunken masher. Freddie Joyzelle, as she calls herself, is a destitute Hungarian violinist, and Mike persuades his partners to let her stay with them. She inspires the boys to ask for a raise, and when they are fired she finds them a better place at a little Hungarian restaurant, joining them as violinist. Prince Nicholaus of Aragon visits the cafe one night and kisses the girl when she plays a song for him, arousing Mike's jealousy; as a result of the prince's patronage, the cafe becomes famous and the musicians the toast of the town. Keppel manages to keep them by planning a new nightclub; but Mike's jealousy causes him to leave the group. The prince, however, reunites the lovers, and at the club opening all ends ...
