Arthur Sherman, a smalltown Florida newspaper editor, loses his way while hunting and comes upon a nudist camp. Shocked, he determines to expose nudism. He returns to his office and assigns reporter Stacey Taylor to visit the camp, instructing her to pose as a nudist so that she may send back daily articles. She agrees to carry out the assignment on Arthur's insistence because she is secretly in love with him. Once she overcomes her initial embarrassment, however, she is greatly impressed with the friendliness and sincerity of the nudists, and her articles reflect her new outlook. Arthur protests; she challenges him to write the articles himself; and she is aghast to see him at the camp a few days later. Finally Stacey sees a newspaper with the headline "Nudist Exposé, Page 5." Furious, she confesses to the camp director her initial purpose in visiting the camp. On reading the article, however, she finds that it tells of the virtues of nudism.
