SYNOPSIS

The Baxters, finding Olaf Ludovic stranded on the California desert, take him in, unaware that he is actually Dr. Betz. He hypnotizes Mrs. Baxter and hides her in the boot of Nash's stage with a command to heist the padlocked gold box. Dr. Carter, a Secret Service agent, and his Indian companion Slowfoot respond to Jessie's pleas to vindicate her grandfather, Scout Nash, who was arrested when the theft was discovered. Carter and Slowfoot uncover Betz's hideout, where the villain has hidden the still-captive Mrs. Baxter in the trunk of a car. Carter frees her, takes her place, and kills Betz in the ensuing confrontation, thus precipitating Jessie's grateful ... +
