SYNOPSIS

Mary Brower sees her sweetheart shot down by a gangster's bullet and temporarily goes into shock. Dr. Cornelius Simmons, a master criminal, recognizes her distracted condition and persuades her to participate in his nefarious schemes. Robert Kelly, a flatfoot, arrests several prominent citizens, including Dr. Simmons, and is thrown off the force when there is insufficient evidence to keep these people in jail. Kelly goes after the gang on his own time and meets Mary. He shocks her back to normalcy, and together they bring the criminal gang to justice. Kelly is reinstated to the force, and Mary's prognosis is ... +
