J. Barney Sherry was Vitagraph's first credited actor on its roster.
Raffles, the Amateur Cracksman was remade by Hyclass Producing Co. in 1917, Universal Pictures in 1925, and MGM in 1939 (as Raffles,) starring John Barrymore, House Peters, and David Niven, respectively (see entries). See also The Burglar and the Lady (1914). ...
