In New York, Jennie Carr, a young English girl, witnesses a gang murder. She rushes back to London, only to have the gang follow her and frame her for theft. Upon her release from prison, Jennie learns that a hobo has been convicted of the New York murder, and is desperately seeking the "mystery girl" who could save him from execution. When Scotland Yard refuses to believe her story, Jennie stows away on an flight to New York, which has the real murderer, Hugo Brandt, aboard. A plane crash is prevented by Inspector Jim Grant, who has sent to New York to check on Jennie's story, and the two fall in ...
